Jerry has spent the last week getting absolutely flamed online, and somehow he keeps feeding the fire himself. Between the gas-station dinners, the gaming PC requests at fancy hotels, and the pants malfunctions on camera, the dude is a content factory whether he likes it or not. So of course the natural endpoint of all that was him posting a thirst trap captioned Bully Body #Herewego like nothing happened.

The thing is, the chat had already decided what Jerry actually was, and it was not Bully Body. During the Bush vs Shrub Watch Party stream on Twitch, the live audience pivoted hard into calling him Old Mook and refused to let up. A supercut of the funniest chat messages made the rounds and it is brutal in that very specific Twitch-chat way where 400 strangers find the same nickname at the same time and just keep hammering.

Context matters here. This is the same week Jerry called the Ritz to negotiate his Family Feud sleeping arrangements like a kid asking for a sleepover, asked the golf resort if they had a gaming PC the second he checked in, and got hip-drop tackled by his own pants on a podcast set. The Old Mook label did not come from nowhere. The chat was just connecting dots the rest of the internet had been drawing all week.

And yet — and this is why the bit works — Jerry does not care. You can roast him all day in chat, clip his pants falling down, catalog every weird little Jerry-ism on a podcast, and his response is to flex in the mirror and call himself Bully Body. There is something kind of admirable about it. The internet keeps trying to lock him in as Old Mook and he keeps showing up the next morning convinced he's the guy. Both things are true at the same time, which is sort of the whole Jerry experience.
