Tuesdays at The Yak are usually controlled chaos. This one tipped fully into chaos. The 6/12 episode managed to cram a co-host grievance, a museum lookalike bit, and an intern coronation into one sitting, and by the time it wrapped the post-show stream was already being teed up as the cherry on top.
BFW, microphone in hand, finally lets it rip on Big Cat mid-episode.
It plays like classic Yak podcast banter — BFW venting on-air, the room half-laughing, half-egging him on. Anyone who's listened for more than a week knows the BFW/Big Cat dynamic runs on this kind of low-grade beef, and the quote is going to live in the clip mines for weeks. It's the kind of soundbite that turns into a Yak Trading Card before the month's out, which TJ is apparently already mocking up for Series 2.
The hosts pull up a green-haired European museum bust they swear is Ethan Kamps.
The statue bit is the kind of riff The Yak does better than anybody. It's a screen-shared photo of some curly-locked, mint-green-haired bust sitting on a pedestal in a European museum, and the room collectively decides it's Kamps in a past life. Not a real sculpture of him. Just a dead-ringer gag the crew refuses to let die, complete with a follow-up double-take clip where the hosts pretend to discover it all over again.
The new intern Braun, drops in on a segment the hosts are calling eye-opening.
Then there's Braun. New intern, apparently already cooking — the framing from the show itself is that he's "opening our eyes," which is the kind of line that either ages incredibly well or becomes a punchline in 6 weeks. Either way he's been pushed to the front of the set, and given how this crew operates, the audition is happening in real time whether he signed up for it or not.
And in case anybody thought the day peaked with BFW's monologue, RUDOLPHJUNDA promised "the ultimate chiller" on the post-Yak stream — Barstool-speak for: stick around, we're not done. Between the co-host beef, the lookalike bit, the intern push, and a mystery guest on the back end, this was one of those Yak days that justifies the whole feed by itself.
