Dana Beers Turns A Saturday Into A Millennium Falcon Marathon

The UCS Millennium Falcon build that started solo Friday turned into a Saturday hangout with Michael Katic, a mountain of light beer, and a #BringBackBeers flag planted on the dining…

Dana Beers kicked the whole thing off Friday night with the kind of confidence that ages poorly. He cracked the box on the UCS Millennium Falcon — the 7,500-piece monster that real adults openly cry over — and figured he could knock it out by sundown. Anyone who has ever touched that set knew immediately that was not happening.

The opening salvo: Dana at the dining table, backwards cap on, swearing he was going to finish in a day.

What started as a one-man job quickly turned into a content drop. Reinforcements showed up, Chewie got assembled to an audible reaction, the Falcon eventually went up on its six landing legs, and a casual IG Live build session stretched past the seven-hour mark. By the time Dana tapped out he admitted he had cleared about 25% of the build and that he had "underestimated" the thing — which, again, anyone who has ever opened that box could have told him on minute one.

The vibe by hour whatever: instruction booklet open, Coors Light and Miller Lite cans stacking up on the table.

Saturday is when it became a bit. Michael Katic pulled up, the light beer pyramid got rebuilt, and Dana slapped the #BringBackBeers hashtag on the whole hangout — the not-so-subtle campaign for him to return to full-time Barstool video duty. Two guys, a round table, a pile of gray plastic, and a Saturday with absolutely nothing else on the agenda. This is the lifestyle content people actually want.

The Falcon is still nowhere near done — by Dana's own math there's a long way to go before that thing is sitting on a shelf in one piece. But as a slow-burn weekend content arc, drunk Legos with your buddy on a Saturday is undefeated. The build will be back. The beers, apparently, never left.
