That's a heavy lift for a rock doc, and Barstool's own Oasis diehards are treating it like appointment viewing.

He didn't just retweet it — he wrote his own extended take, calling the film chills-inducing, admitting it pissed him off, and saying it somehow made him understand Noel Gallagher for the first time. That last part is doing a lot of work for anyone who's followed the Gallagher brothers' 30-year feud; Noel has spent decades as the more guarded, business-minded half of Oasis, and getting a Barstool guy to sympathize with him is its own kind of review.

Dante's only real gripe was what got left out — he says the film skips the most interesting part, though he doesn't spell out what that is. Given the documentary is built around Live '25's 23-song setlist and the brothers' first joint interview in 15-plus years, that's a notable thing to flag as missing, whatever it turns out to be. He followed up hours later with a shorter, blunter compliment for the writer behind Barstool's review, which is a small thing but tells you the piece kept resonating with him well after his own review went up.

Dante wasn't the only Barstool voice circling back to the theater for it, either. Robbie Fox posted that this was his third time seeing the documentary in theaters, calling it "Biblical" — not the kind of word you throw around for a movie you're lukewarm on.

None of this is surprising given how big the actual reunion got. Oasis Live '25 kicked off in Cardiff and ran 41 dates across the UK, North America, Asia and Australia, wrapping in São Paulo — and by some estimates the first 14 shows alone generated up to £400 million. A tour that size, capped off with the brothers finally sitting down together on camera, was always going to produce a documentary people wanted to see more than once. Barstool's Oasis contingent clearly isn't done talking about it, and if the reviews keep piling on like this, don't be shocked if a second and third viewing become the norm rather than the exception.
