Thousands of Norwegian fans showed up to Boston doing the Viking thunderclap — full synchronized intensity, exactly what you'd expect from that fanbase. Their coaching staff apparently decided the 11 best players didn't need to be out there for this one. Dembele made them pay for that call with interest, in roughly the time it takes to watch half an episode of a TV drama. Whatever Norway's plan was, it did not survive contact with a guy who was clearly playing a completely different game than everyone else on the pitch.
