Internet Invitational season 2 premieres October 26

TLDR: Barstool's Internet Invitational is coming back for season 2 on October 26, presented by Dunkin', and the first trailer footage is already going around golf Twitter.
The announcement went out on Wednesday afternoon from Barstool, Fore Play and the tournament's own account within minutes of each other, all saying the same thing.
That's the whole announcement: a season number, a date and a sponsor. The tweets don't give a start time, an episode count or a platform. Last year's run gives a rough idea of what to expect, though. Season 1 came out as 6 episodes on YouTube across 3 weeks in October and November 2025 and was later picked up by Fox Sports 1. October 26 lands in almost exactly the same slot.
If you missed the first one, it was Barstool and Bob Does Sports putting 48 golf content creators on a course in Missouri, drafting them into 2 teams and cutting the field over 3 days, with Dave Portnoy running it as host and rules commissioner. Brad Dalke, Francis Ellis and Cody "Beef" Franke won and split $1 million. Then it got heavy: Beef died in Jamaica the day before the series premiered. Barstool set up a scholarship fund in his name at Ferris State, and his win became the emotional center of the whole season.
Season 2 is bigger. The prize pool is reportedly over $4 million, 4 times what Dalke, Ellis and Beef split, and Caitlin Clark and Kai Trump were reported to have tentatively accepted invites. Nobody has posted a confirmed field yet, so the trailer footage is the first real look.
We are so back!
The Stoolies went straight to "we are so back" mode, which makes sense. Season 1 didn't feel like a YouTube golf collab. It felt like an event, and it got enough attention to bring in a brand like Dunkin' as presenting sponsor for the sequel. That has the TV-golf people paying attention too.
What to watch for before the 26th: the full roster, which celebrity invites actually show up in the footage, and whether Portnoy changes the format now that there's 4 times as much money on the line. More than $4 million splits very differently than $1 million did, and you can bet the rules commissioner will get some arguments about it.
