None of that changes with a few missed practices in early August, but it does explain why fantasy circles and Broncos fans alike raised an eyebrow the moment the limp went viral. A soft-tissue strain in Year 1 of a trade this expensive is the kind of thing camp reporters flag and everyone else tries not to overreact to. For now, it's a short-term absence, not a red flag on the season, but Denver's offense doesn't have much room for delay if it wants Waddle synced up with Nix by Week 1.
