Taylor took over for Blake Shapen down the stretch last season as a true freshman, and while the Bulldogs' year ended in a bowl loss to Wake Forest, Taylor flashed enough as a runner and thrower to make the QB1 job his heading into 2026. He completed 56% of his passes for 629 yards, 5 touchdowns and just 1 interception last year, adding 456 yards and 8 more scores on the ground, per hailstate.com's own reporting.
