He posted video of what he's calling the BlogMother's new work space, and the vibe is less newsroom and more mood lighting — a MacBook, an iced coffee, and a dim, dark-walled room that Smokes labeled "terrifying."

That's a real word count for a Barstool blog, and she wanted everyone to know the effort that went into it.

BarstoolNate posted back with just "On it," hashtagging it #RebuttalBlog — the kind of instant counter-programming that's become a Barstool blog tradition whenever someone drops a hot take worth arguing with. Whatever kingkrabbyp wrote, Nate clearly felt strongly enough to fire up his own draft in response.
Not content with just the blog stu, kingkrabbyp is already angling for a permanent upgrade. She put in a formal request to BarstoolBigCat asking to turn a tiny phone booth into her official studio — presumably an upgrade from whatever dim corner Nicky Smokes filmed her in. It's a bold ask, but bold asks are kind of the whole bit here.
As for what actually sparked the rebuttal, kingkrabbyp says she's got the receipts. She followed up by declaring she's entering "THE BLOG FILES" into evidence, which suggests this back-and-forth with Nate is only getting started. Whether BigCat signs off on the phone booth or Nate's rebuttal lands the knockout blow, this is shaping up to be a full-blown blog beef worth following.
