Liam Gallagher's New Doc Trailer Has Barstool Losing It

A trailer dropped and suddenly Barstool's music guys are talking about it like a heavyweight title fight.

Liam Gallagher doesn't do subtle. He never has, whether it's an Oasis reunion tease, a Twitter feud, or now apparently a documentary trailer that's got the Barstool office buzzing. The clip in question is moody, dark-stage, hooded-jacket stuff — the kind of footage that looks less like a rockumentary teaser and more like something HBO would cut for a fight card.

Robbie Fox watched it and immediately called it cinema, which tracks given the production value on display. He followed that up by pointing out the editing style specifically — comparing the pacing and tension of the cut to how boxing promotions hype a title fight, all drama and no wasted motion.

Whatever this documentary ends up being, the trailer alone has done its job. Two Barstool guys are already treating it like an event, and Gallagher — never one to undersell himself — probably wouldn't have it any other way.
