Maserati Mike breaks the Barstool sign, lands in a suit

TLDR: Hours after he reportedly smashed the neon Barstool sign in the Chicago office lobby, Maserati Mike ran the Yak Gauntlet, and the clock in the clip reads 2:02.68 at the end.
The day started with a crime scene. On Wednesday's stream the Yak rolled security footage from the lobby at Chicago HQ.
Be fair about what the tape shows. The sampled frames show people around the marble counter and someone in a dark helmet next to an arcade cabinet. They don't clearly show the sign going down, and they don't clearly show Mike doing it. That part comes from the post and from the Yak's own retelling. Still, nobody in the building is rushing to defend him, and the neon sign in the lobby of a $20 million office isn't something you break quietly.
Then the Gauntlet got involved. The Yak's account teased the punishment before anyone outside the room saw the run: Mike would be wearing a suit for the next few days.
If you've watched the Gauntlet, you know the format: one continuous clock through a string of stations. Here that means shots on an indoor court, cornhole, a trivia board with 55 answers and a retro computer game, while the hosts heckle from the couches. In the first clip Mike is on the trivia board with the clock at 1:47.50. That's late to be stuck on a 55-answer grid if you're chasing a sub-2.
From breaking the Barstool sign in Chicago HQ to breaking 2 min in the Yak Gauntlet? @DrinkBODYARMOR
The caption asks whether the guy who broke the sign could also break 2 minutes. Based on the clip, he couldn't. The last timer you see reads 2:02.68, close enough to the line to hurt. The run was respectable, but it didn't get him out of anything. Combine that with the Yak's tease and you get a man in office formalwear for the rest of the week, with a BODYARMOR ad read attached.
That's how the Yak has always worked: you mess up in the building, it ends up on the show, and the show finds a way to make you pay for it on camera. Now watch how long the suit actually lasts, and whether anyone in Chicago mentions what the sign cost to replace. If Mike gets another shot at the Gauntlet, everyone will be watching to see if he gets under 2:00.
