Sponsor product at Barstool is supposed to get plugged on air. Nobody planned on a host eating it, especially when it's made for dogs.

Sales is mad at Mikey Bets for eating a lot of the the sponsored dog treats

The money is what makes this funny. Sponsored treats exist to get read on air, photographed and handed to the office dogs. They're not meant to be a desk snack for a guy who bets for a living. When the people who sell the ad space notice the product is missing, it's a real gripe, and The Yak made it a whole segment.

The fans then went straight for the bathroom angle. One roast tied Mikey Bets eating dog food to him supposedly having an accident, and the jab came with a clip from the same Yak episode. That's a fan account's joke, though, not a confirmed medical report.

The caption on that Mikey Bets post on screen, 'Actions have consequences,' fits the story well. Whatever happened after the treats, it was enough that The Yak put it up on screen and talked it through on air instead of letting it go.

The 'catch em all' line is a playful Pokemon spin on the whole thing. You won't see any disaster in the frames, just guys in leather chairs telling a story that clearly got worse the longer it went. For The Yak, that's a great day: a sponsor gripe, a bit of gross-out and a fresh nickname waiting to happen.

There's one thing to watch from here. Sponsor bits at Barstool tend to stick around, and once a host is known as the guy who ate the dog treats, every future read for that product gets harder to do straight. Expect Sales to keep a closer count on the stash, and expect Mikey Bets to keep hearing about it.
