The Yak says Mikey Bets sleeps in his work clothes

It started as studio banter and the show's own account posted it as a rumor, which is exactly how it should be read.

Rumor has it, @RealMikeyBets showers at night and sleeps in his clothes he wears to work the next day to save time

The logic, if you can call it that, is simple: shower the night before, get dressed for work, go to sleep, wake up and walk out the door. No outfit decisions at 6am, no time lost in the bathroom, a few more minutes in bed. Clips of the segment also went around framing it the same way, as a guy who sleeps in his clothes so he can sleep longer. Nobody on the show confirmed it as fact and Mikey Bets hadn't shot it down publicly either, so for now it lives in the most dangerous category at Barstool: the rumor that's too funny not to be true.

By the afternoon Megan had a comparison ready. To her, sleeping in your work clothes sits in the same family as stashing McDonald's next to the bed for the morning after a night out, which is basically a hangover plan with a Big Mac in it.

That's a guess from the replies, not a confirmed ID. But if it holds up, Mikey Bets has a pattern going: every night he sets up tomorrow morning so he can do as little as possible when he wakes up. The Yak crew lives for this kind of bit, and once a habit gets clipped and passed around, the guy is usually stuck with it for weeks. Expect Mikey Bets to get asked about it on air. If he denies it, he better be wearing a shirt with no wrinkles in it.
