Nicky Smokes has never exactly been a wallflower at Barstool. He famously talked his way into the company after winning a high-stakes Game 7 bet against Dave Portnoy, jumping from a Twitter account with roughly 8,000 followers straight onto the Yak set. Confidence has always been part of the pitch. So when the company's unofficial title of top ladies' man got yanked away from him this week, it was never going to go quietly.

Now that Green Greg is our #1 Cocksman at the company, Nicky Smokes is really struggling with his new role as a backup
The rivalry got personal fast. Nicky fired back at the crew with a jab of his own, accusing whoever posted the demotion bit of being too busy chasing Brianna Chicken Fry's DMs to have any business ranking anybody else. It's the kind of shot that only lands inside an office where everybody already knows everybody's business, and the Stoolies Clubhouse account was quick to pile on, noting they'd never seen Nicky more heated than the day people started saying Green Greg gets more action than him.
The Yak itself leaned into the bit directly, posing the question to its audience: does Green Greg actually have more game than Nicky Smokes?

Does Green Greg have more game than Nicky Smokes?
Nicky didn't sit on his hands for long. He posted a photo captioned "Come for the King you best not miss, whose next on the list?" -- a not-so-subtle reminder that he still considers himself the guy to beat. A day later he was teasing receipts of his own, warning that the crew had "woken the demon up" and that he had clips loaded and ready to fire back.
None of this is happening in a vacuum, either. The Yak has been needling Nicky all week on other fronts, including a bit about him being so scattered that he has to reassemble himself like Mr. Potato Head every morning -- a line delivered by KB and repeated enough times across the show's socials that it's basically become a tagline. Add in a viral moment where his own "prep sheet" for a guest appearance got read aloud on air, raunchy paragraph and all, and it's clear the whole crew has decided Nicky is this week's target.

The Nicky Smokes prep sheet was an experience
Whether Green Greg actually out-games Nicky Smokes is obviously unprovable and beside the point -- this is a running bit, not a verdict. But bits like this are how the Yak keeps its cast feeling like an actual friend group with real dynamics instead of a rotating panel of talking heads, and Nicky's visibly annoyed reactions are only fueling it further. Expect the needling to keep escalating until somebody actually settles it, or more likely, until the next bit takes over.
