So once the clock ran out, Nicky did the most Barstool thing possible and picked up the phone. There's no quiet 'good game, bro' text between these two. He called Mintzy directly so he could laugh at him live.

Mintzy took it like a man, sort of. Within minutes he was promising that the loss would follow him into the office all week. He doesn't say exactly what he'll be wearing twice, but it's obvious this is a debt he owes to Nicky Smokes, and the whole building will get to watch him pay it.

Ohio's Tate liked all of it. His view is that the more Barstool fanbases alive in the playoff race, the better, and Florida back in the mix only raises the stakes. He isn't looking for friendly rivalries. He wants actual hatred on the streams.

That's the fun of this. Jon Sumrall has Florida at 4-0 with a top-5 scalp in Year 1, Ole Miss still has a résumé the committee will respect, and Tate's Buckeyes are hanging over all of it. If Florida keeps winning, Nicky Smokes gets to be unbearable until December. For now it's Mintzy's week to take the abuse in the office.
