Rams coaches and Eagles fans trade middle fingers

TLDR: Rams coaches in the visiting booth and Eagles fans traded middle fingers after Kyren Williams' late go-ahead touchdown sealed a 24-20 Rams win in Philly, and a drink ended up splashed across the booth glass.

The game ended on the field. Up in the visiting coaches' box at the Linc, it was just getting started.

Rams Coaches and Philly Scumbags were flipping each other off after the Rams game winning TD

Look at the setup. The Rams staff are in headsets and blue gear, looking down through the glass at a section of Eagles fans that have just watched their team blow a 10-point lead at home. According to Yahoo Sports, the Rams coaches banged on the windows after Williams scored, the fans turned around and shouted back, and then the middle fingers started going both ways. Somebody in the crowd let a drink fly, and you can see the result on the glass at the end of the clip. No coach has been publicly named, and so far there's no word from the league about fines.

It's hard to blame anybody for being worked up. Philly led 20-10 at halftime and then didn't score again. The Eagles went 0-for-12 on third down, and Williams broke a couple of tackles on his way into the end zone late in the 4th to put the Rams ahead for good. Both teams are 2-2 now, but only one fan base walked out feeling like they'd been robbed.

The gambling crowd had already called this a big one. On Barstool Sports Advisors that week, the Rams were laying 3 and both sides were calling it a must-win, with the Rams sitting at 1-2. One voice on the show still went with Philly at home.

“I'm taking the Eagles here. I don't love it, but I'm going to take them in this spot at home.”

That pick didn't age well. The Rams won outright by 4, which covers the 3, and for the second straight week Philly's fans watched their team get outplayed in the 2nd half. Barstool Gambling summed up the mood in the stands: Eagles fans are taking the loss well. Very well.

Next comes the bill. Coaches flipping off a crowd from the booth usually gets a fine from the league office, and a drink hitting the coaches' glass is going to get stadium security asking questions. The Rams come out of it at.500 with a road win in the toughest building in the NFC, and the Eagles come out with a third-down problem nobody in Philly will shut up about this week.
