But the actual story coming out of #400 wasn't the platform hiccup — it was the crew clocking the fact that Dave's freshly floated comedy writers dream team didn't include a single one of them. For a podcast that's been one of the more consistently funny things on the network for 400 episodes running, getting left off a comedy roster constructed by the boss is the kind of thing you have to address on mic.

To his credit, Dave didn't dig in. He hopped on and basically admitted he was thinking Chicago office and rattled the list off the top of his head, conceding all 3 of the guys would be on it if he were actually building the room — assuming he could pry Francis and Sas off tour.

Then Nate stuck the landing. While everyone else was litigating the writers room, he zoomed out on the entire premise of Dave loudly workshopping a comedy roast lineup when the man himself has famously refused to ever sit in the chair and take one.
