Some guys lose an AirPod case and just buy a new one. Mintzy is not that guy. According to his own account, he spent the better part of an hour crawling around the Horseshoe Events Center trying to track down his missing case, going as far as diving under a table where he'd apparently busted mega earlier in the night before giving up and heading to the lost and found.

Spent the last hour trying to find air pod case. Dove under table in Horseshoe Events Center where I busted mega. Now headed to lost & found. Everyday a new adventure
Naturally, the internet had thoughts on the methodology. Cons showed up to needle him for doing this the hard way, pointing out that Apple's own "Find My" feature exists for exactly this reason, but apparently that would've been too easy for a man committed to the bit.

I respect Mintzy trying to find things the old fashioned way - grit and determination “Find my” would be too easy
One lost and found down, then a second, then a third — still nothing. By his own telling, Mintzy had officially hit rock bottom on this quest, checking table after table and lost-and-found after lost-and-found with no case in sight. That's when TheLattack, seemingly out of nowhere, overheard the whole saga and said he knew exactly where the case was.
Mintzy recapped the full ordeal on camera, crediting TheLattack for the last-second save.
It's the same energy that follows Mintzy everywhere: fail upwards, stumble into a win, repeat. He said it himself in the clip — this is just how it goes for him. The case search wasn't exactly a crisis of national importance, but it had all the makings of a classic Barstool subplot: a guy overcomplicating a simple problem, a friend clowning him for it in real time, and another friend swooping in to save the day right as things looked bleakest.
