Stu Feiner raves about dinner with Barstool Chicago

TLDR: Stu Feiner took the Barstool Chicago crew out to dinner Tuesday night and called it soup to nuts an unbelievable experience, while Mike Katic said his first Feiner dinner lived up to the hype.

The posts started late Tuesday night, with Stu tagging the whole Chicago crew and handing out reviews like he hands out mortal locks.

For a guy whose entire brand is turning the volume up to 11, "beyond delicious" is practically a whisper. A couple of minutes later he was back with a second plate and a bigger verdict.

A dinner with Stu is a known event around the company at this point. Barstool has pushed his ordering-for-the-table routine as must-watch content before, and the Chicago office has watched him take over its programming more than once. Mike Katic, though, had never been to one. Tuesday was his first, and he came out of it a believer, with footage of the showpiece.

In 4 years coming to @barstoolchicago , this is the best meal and the best crew ever. Everything was delicious and I so so love @KaticMichael @cait_walkerr @ella_grif the kindest, inclusive, giving, funny, humans alive. A must stop for anyone looking for a once in a lifetime meal. Staff, chefs, waitresses, were beyond accommodating. Please tell them that Stu sent you to get the ultimate treatment from Cafe Bionda

Setting a cheese wheel on fire next to your table is the most Stu Feiner way to serve pasta there is. Nobody at that table was getting a quiet salad and an early night. Cait Walker and Ella Griffin were tagged in too, so it was a full crew outing and not just the 2 guys sizing each other up over the bread basket.

It also comes at a pretty good time for Stu's mood. Earlier this month on Barstool Sports Advisors he admitted his September had been rough, then promised the turnaround he says comes every fall.

Whether the picks back that up is still up for debate. The dinner reviews at least have him going 2-for-2 this week, and Katic is already on record saying the hype was real. The Chicago crew should expect to be asked to go again, and they probably won't say no.
