Telluride Bush Gaming's group stage at Challengers Champs opens Friday in Las Vegas, and the org needs at least a 2-1 record out of a 4-team pool to survive into the bracket.

Telluride Bush Gaming's group stage at Challengers Champs opens Friday in Las Vegas, with the Call of Duty League's championship event running the back half of the week. The org has spent the days leading in scrimmaging a mix of Challengers and pro-level competition, treating the block as a final tune-up before pool play decides who survives into the bracket.

The group itself is tight. Bush Gaming lands in Group A alongside OMNiA Invicta (formerly Exceptional GM), Team WaR, and i2 — 4 teams for a stage that barely forgives a loss. A 2-0 or 2-1 record clears group play; anything worse and the run ends in Las Vegas before the bracket even starts.

Scrim opponents this week have run the gamut from domestic to international. OMiT's EU roster flew over specifically for Champs and scrimmed Bush Gaming multiple times over the past several days, and the lead-in closed with a set against FaZe Vegas.

Off the server, the organization's Owners Meeting series kept its usual cadence, if a little later than scheduled — owner Lil Sas recorded episode 43 while traveling, pushing the drop back a few hours before it premiered Sunday night. That episode recapped a recent trip to Wyoming, laid out the finalized content plan for the Vegas trip, and opened a giveaway for a general-admission ticket to Champs.

The roster making the trip is the same group that's carried Telluride Bush Gaming to 1st-place finishes at both Elite Playoffs 4 and Major 3 Atlanta this season: Prolute, Cammy, Capsidal, and Traixx, with Temp coaching and Jace running the front office. A 3rd-place finish at Major 4 Paris in June is the most recent result on the board — Champs is the next chance to add to it.
