If you needed proof that the Yak rolodex is in a good place right now, Friday delivered. Big Cat opened the doors with Tallent in studio and Two Friends along for the ride, the kind of guest combo where the show stops being a sports pod and starts being a hangout that just happens to be recording.
Big Cat announced the lineup before the show with a single-word caption that says everything you need to know about the format.

Tallent has quietly become one of the most-requested comedy bookings on the show, and Friday his standing got cemented in the bluntest terms possible. The man said Barstool has lived rent-free in his recommended feed in a way no other person at the company has — algorithm impregnation, his words, not mine. That's the kind of line you only land when you've been around long enough to roast the place from the inside.
Tallent on how deeply the Barstool world has rewired his For You page.
Two Friends brought the music-world layer to it, including a callback to KB and a way-back connection to Dante that turned into one of those tangents the Yak does better than anyone. Mixed in were the usual detours — a bidet seat operating manual nobody asked for, a Cheah friendship update, and a question about whether snow is gay that I'm not going to attempt to summarize. The show was doing show things.
A laugh from the studio that the Yak account itself admitted is going to be living in their dreams.
Heads up for next week too: the Yak is going to reruns, but they're keeping the slot. Tune in at the normal 1 ET / 12 CT window and you'll get something on the feed. And then Big Cat, as is tradition, closed Friday's loop the only way he ever does.
The rerun schedule for next week, same Yak time slot.

One word. All caps. YAK. The week's a wrap.
