Minnesota returning its starting quarterback for a second straight year is the single biggest edge in this game, and it's the kind of stability Mississippi State simply doesn't have right now. Minnesota, by contrast, is coming off an 8-5 season and had Drake Lindsey take real reps as a redshirt freshman starter, which changes how this whole non-conference slate is supposed to go.
