Notre Dame spent the offseason stewing. A 10-2 finish, a 10-game winning streak to close the year, and still no invite to the College Football Playoff after Miami got the nod instead. Marcus Freeman turned that snub into a mantra — "leave no doubt" — and this trip to Kenan Stadium is the kind of game that tests whether the Irish actually absorbed the lesson. It's their first visit to Chapel Hill since 2022, and they're bringing a roster built to make a statement.
CJ Carr is the centerpiece of that statement. He threw 24 touchdowns against just 6 interceptions last season while completing over 67% of his passes, and the hype around him this offseason has been the loudest for a Notre Dame quarterback in years.
