This is Georgia's second game of the year and its first real test in front of the Sanford Stadium crowd, following the opener against Tennessee State. Gunner Stockton is back for his redshirt senior season after throwing for just under 3,000 yards with 24 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions a year ago, adding nearly 500 yards and 10 more scores on the ground. He's the engine of this offense, and Kirby Smart's staff has made clear the Bulldogs go as far as Stockton takes them.
Western Kentucky arrives off a 9-4 campaign that ended with a 27-16 win over Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl, Tyson Helton's fourth nine-win season in seven years running the program.
