Arizona salvaged the finale 1-0 behind James McCann's home run, but the Phillies took the series and Ketel Marte's return from the restricted list drew boos at Chase Field.

The Phillies beat Arizona 2-1 on August 31 and 7-1 on September 1 to take the first two games of the series at Chase Field, before the Diamondbacks salvaged the finale with a 1-0 win on September 2.
