This is the first time these two have shared a field since the Dodgers ran them out of the building in the NLCS, and the Brewers are not the same team showing up for the rematch. Milwaukee just swept the Cubs at Wrigley and rolls in at 29-18, sitting on top of the NL Central. The Dodgers are no slouch either at 31-19, but the Brewers are arguably the hottest team in baseball right now.

Justin Wrobleski gets the ball for LA and the surface stats look immaculate — 6-1 with a 2.49 ERA. The catch is the strikeout rate. Coming into May 18 he had whiffed only 13 hitters in 32 innings as a starter, the lowest K rate of any starter with 30+ innings, and Atlanta finally made him pay by tagging him for 7 runs his last time out. He gets a Brewers lineup that just steamrolled Chicago.

Logan Henderson is the other side of the ball, and the rookie has been the surprise of Milwaukee's rotation while Brandon Woodruff works his way back. Henderson is 1-1 with a 3.50 ERA across four starts. His last time out he held the Twins to 1 run on a Trevor Larnach solo shot over 5 innings with 7 punchouts. Not bad for a kid who was supposed to be a stopgap.

The Dodgers' injury list reads like a rotation depth chart on fire. Snell, Glasnow, Graterol, Dreyer, Phillips, Stone, Miller, Casparius — that's a lot of arms in the trainer's room, which is part of why Wrobleski is even here in the first place. Milwaukee is dealing with the Woodruff absence and a Garrett Mitchell day-to-day, but their pitching staff has held up better than anyone expected.

Pinnacle has this thing essentially pick'em with the Dodgers a hair on the moneyline at -106 and Milwaukee at -102. Total sits at 8.5 with the under juiced to -113, which tracks with two starters who've both been better than their stuff probably should allow. If Wrobleski's contact-heavy approach finally catches up to him against this Brewers lineup, the under is in trouble early. If not, expect a tight one into the bullpens.
