TLDR: San Francisco's least reliable starter picked the worst possible day to pitch his best game of the year, and it still wasn't enough.

Matt Wilkinson took the ball for the Giants in the 1:10 PM PT finale at Dodger Stadium looking for anything better than his last turn against the Mets, and the extra rest showed.
