Seattle and Baltimore wrap up a four-game set Thursday with first pitch at 7:05 PM ET on ESPN. The Mariners took the first two, the Orioles stole Wednesday behind a Jackson Holliday grand slam, and now it's Bryan Woo (5-4, 3.74) opposite Kyle Bradish (3-7, 3.89) for the series.
Both starters are limping into this one. Woo's last outing was a 6.1-inning, 5-ER loss in Detroit. Bradish was worse — 4 innings, 5 ER, 3 walks in Toronto, all the warning signs of a guy who'd been on a 1.72 ERA heater over his prior 5 starts and finally had a clunker. One of them figures to look like the version we saw in May. The other gets buried by a deep Camden lineup or a Mariners offense that's hung 6, 6, and 2 over the first three games of this series.

The Orioles are 32-37 and finally exhaled after a 4-game slide, with Brandon Young going 6 strong and Holliday and Pete Alonso going deep. The Mariners are 36-33 and have actually run off a respectable trip even without the catcher who finished 5th in AL Cy Young voting last year — wait, that's Woo. The bigger absence is Cal Raleigh, who's on the IL with an oblique but already starting a rehab assignment at High-A Everett. Soon, but not tonight.

- Day-To-DayColt Emerson 3B — Emerson (back) will remain out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles, but he took part in a workout earlier in the day and is optimistic that he'll avoid a stint on the injured list, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
- Day-To-DayBrock Rodden 2B — no
- 10-Day-ILWill Wilson 3B — Wilson (thumb) has gone 3-for-9 with two RBI and a 1:2 BB:K in his first three rehab games between High-A Everett and Triple-A Tacoma.
- 10-Day-ILJ.P. Crawford SS — Crawford (hand) is still waiting for the results of a CT scan he underwent Tuesday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
- 10-Day-ILCal Raleigh C — Raleigh (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Everett on Sunday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
- 10-Day-ILBrendan Donovan 3B — Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Sunday that Donovan will receive a platelet-rich plasma injection for his strained left groin as well as his adductor and is expected to resume baseball activity in 2-to-3 weeks, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
- 15-Day-ILMatt Brash RP — The Mariners reinstated Brash (lat) from the 15-day injured list Wednesday.
- 15-Day-ILCooper Criswell RP — Criswell earned the save in Sunday's 8-0 win over the Guardians, allowing two hits while striking out five over three scoreless innings.

- Day-To-DaySamuel Basallo C — Basallo (wrist) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners.
- Day-To-DayAdley Rutschman C — Rutschman (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Mariners.
- Day-To-DayJhonkensy Noel RF — Noel was placed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Norfolk on Monday with left wrist inflammation, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.
- Day-To-DayLevi Wells P — Wells underwent successful core-muscle surgery Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
- Day-To-DayRichard Guasch SP — no
- Day-To-DayWill Robertson LF — The Orioles reassigned Robertson to minor-league camp Wednesday, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
- 10-Day-ILDylan Beavers RF — Beavers (oblique) hit in the batting cage Wednesday, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.
- 15-Day-ILRyan Helsley RP — Helsley (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.
Baltimore is also missing both of its catchers — Adley Rutschman (hamstring) and Samuel Basallo (wrist) are both day-to-day and out again Wednesday — plus closer Ryan Helsley is on a rehab assignment but not back yet. That bullpen has been a problem all year, and if Bradish gets chased early like he did in Toronto, the leverage arms behind him are exactly where the Mariners have done their damage in this series.
Seattle is a slight road favorite at -111 on a total of 8.5, which feels about right for two guys with mid-3 ERAs who both just got smoked. The market is treating this like a coin flip with a small Woo lean, and given how the rest of the series has gone, that tracks.
