Lindor also went 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI, and the Mets' own account marked the night simply: 'What a night for Lindor!'
Carson Benge went 3-for-4, and Luis Robert Jr. added his own two-hit night with a home run and an RBI. Zac Thornton held up his end on the mound with six innings, seven hits, one earned run, no walks and four strikeouts, keeping the Brewers in reach long enough for the finish to matter.
It was the Mets' third win in their last five games. They are 60-72 on the year.
