The heavy drizzle that hung over Citi Field all afternoon never did slow the scoring the way it looked like it might, and Bo Bichette gave the home crowd a jolt with a solo homer that briefly made this a game again before Philadelphia put it away for good.

Philadelphia's first two runs came in the opening inning and a second pair followed in the third, with Tong charged for all four before New York's pen ever got involved — a clean 4-0 hole against a lineup that had scored just 3 runs in each of its last three games coming in.
