The pitching matchup is the whole story. deGrom is sitting on a 3.02 ERA and just got the all-clear after some right knee discomfort against the Mariners — MRI came back clean, he's making the start. On the other side: Grayson Rodriguez, making his second start since July 2024 after a 655-day layoff.
