Feits takes How'd We Get Here to Washington Square Park

TLDR: Feits dropped a new How'd We Get Here on Thursday, filmed live on the grass in Washington Square Park, with a take on Barstool's New York office and a Chiclets Cup story.
No studio and no desk this time. Feits took the show outside, into one of the busiest parks in Manhattan, and posted the episode himself Thursday afternoon.

The setting turned into the joke pretty quickly. The office is already a sore subject at Barstool. Back in July, Dave Portnoy said the company's New York lease runs through 2029, the same year Mayor Zohran Mamdani's term ends. He also complained that talent wasn't actually using the space, and said whether the office stays depends on whether people show up and work in it. So when a clip went out billed as what Feits thinks will happen to the New York office once that lease is up, it ran with footage from the park.
Read it as a bit, not a business plan. The tweet puts the 2029 date in Feits' mouth, and the punchline is the picture: if the lease runs out and nobody renews it, this is the new studio. It's a mic with a fuzzy windscreen, a drink bottle and a patch of grass in Greenwich Village. Nothing official has been announced about the office. What's real is that the man who signs the checks has openly floated the lease end date and an empty office in the same breath, so a park podcast hits a little close to home.
The episode wasn't all office talk. The timing matters for the second clip. The Chiclets Cup is in Boston this weekend at Harpoon Brewery on Northern Avenue, running October 8 through 10, with street hockey, the Spittin' Chiclets crew on site and free admission. Feits has called the Chiclets Cups some of the best events the company runs, and he used part of the park episode to tell a Cup story.
In honor of the Chiclets Cup going on this weekend in Boston, Feits tells a story that he will never forget
There's no hockey in the clip, just a guy on the grass with a mic telling a story. The promo calls it one he will never forget, and that's enough to send you to the full episode. With the Cup getting going Thursday night and games starting Friday morning, it doubles as a warmup for a weekend that should give the Chiclets side plenty of new stories.
The bigger thread is worth keeping an eye on. Portnoy has been loud about New York, the lease has a date on it now, and the people who work there are making jokes about where they'll end up. For now that's Washington Square Park and a fleece. We'll see whether the office is still around by 2029.
