Barstool After Dark has built its whole identity on Ohio's Tate and company refusing to stop streaming until some ridiculous challenge gets finished, whether that's a 100-foot trick shot or a full hot dog eating gauntlet with Joey Chestnut. This week's version apparently involved 30 straight field goals, and according to Viva La Stool, Hank came out of it with a foot that had straight up stopped working.

The story doesn't stop at the stream. Per the same post, Hank capped off the night by walking into the garage door of his own building, which is the kind of detail that only makes sense after you've been standing on a foot with no feeling in it for hours. Hank Lockwood isn't some rando extra on these streams either — Barstool's bio page lists him as a Pardon My Take producer and Dave's former right-hand man, so this is a guy usually running things behind the scenes suddenly becoming the punchline.

Naturally, the internet went looking for someone to blame. Stoolies Clubhouse floated the idea that Ohio's Tate, as the host of After Dark and someone reportedly working under a new contract, should be the one footing the bill for Hank's garage door.

It's a bit, obviously, but it's also very on-brand for how these After Dark aftermaths play out — someone gets hurt doing something dumb for content, and the replies immediately turn it into a workers'-comp joke. Tate hosting the show every Tuesday night with a mandate to keep going until the bit lands is exactly the kind of setup that produces a guy losing feeling in his foot in the first place.

Pardon My Take piled on too, with the show calling the whole thing an all-time Fyre Fest and tagging @forthepeople — a not-so-subtle nod to the idea that Hank might need a personal injury lawyer after all this. But inside the company it's already turned into the running joke of the week, with Hank cast as the guy who survived 30 field goals only to lose the fight to his own garage.
