Jersey Jerry hosts Barstool Sports Advisors after 5-0 run

The show announced the change itself, with sirens and all, and gave the new host a nickname for the occasion.

🚨 Major Show Change 🚨 Mr. 5-0 is in the host chair. (For one week)

The 'For one week' part is the joke. Advisors has a set pecking order. Big Cat runs the show, Stu Feiner is 'the source,' and Jerry is the guy whose picks get read back to him when they lose. Every episode opens by listing all 3 of them, and last week's open went the normal way, with the usual host driving.

“Barstool Sports Advisors. We are back. It is Week 4. I'm here with Stu. I'm here with Jerry.”

This week Jerry got to run it. The reason was simple: he went 5-0 on his easy picks. Nobody is calling that a hot streak in the betting sense. A perfect week is rare enough on this show that it earned him the chair, though, and it's a fun twist for a guy who usually ends his segments yelling '4GP' and asking God to bless the audience. The review of how it went was split between the 2 people who were there.

Jersey Jerry is 5-0 in his easy picks so he got to host Barstool Sports Advisors this week “It was great” - @BarstoolBigCat “It was bad” - @Jerrythekid21 @LucyNicotine

Big Cat said 'It was great.' Jerry said 'It was bad.' That's the right result for this show. If Big Cat is praising it, he's probably having fun at Jerry's expense, and if Jerry is putting himself down, he's probably the only one who thinks he blew it. Fans can watch the episode and pick a side.

Now Jerry goes back to his own seat with a lot to live up to. One perfect week bought him 1 week as host. The easy picks will keep getting graded, and every loss from here gets compared to that 5-0. If he puts together another run, he'll want the chair back. If he doesn't, Big Cat is going to keep bringing up the week Jerry hosted.
