The Apartment has been searching for a new tenant to help chip in on rent, and for a hot minute it looked like Meek Phil was the guy. The pitch was simple on paper: move in, split the bills, become part of the rotation. The catch was who had to vouch for him.

The Apartment may have found a tenant to help pay some of the rent but it comes with a stipulation The Tenant: Meek Phil
That stipulation turned out to be the whole problem. Tommy was the one running point on the offer, laying out the opportunity for Meek Phil to actually move in. But there was a name attached to the fine print that changed everything.

Tommy is pitching Meek Phil the opportunity to move into The Apartment Klemmer would be his Guarantor
The condition was that Klemmer would serve as Meek Phil's guarantor. Anyone who has followed the two of them knows that is not a small ask -- Meek Phil and Klemmer have a well-documented history of not exactly getting along, from on-air blowups to Twitter shots back and forth. Handing Klemmer any kind of leverage over Meek Phil's living situation was always going to be a nonstarter.
Sure enough, the deal fell apart almost as fast as it came together. Meek Phil is reportedly out on The Apartment, full stop, and the reasoning tracks: the last person he wants co-signing anything in his life is Klemmer.

The last person Meek Phil wants to have help him is Klemmer. As for now, he is OUT on The Apartment.
The peanut gallery weighed in almost instantly, and the read was unanimous. Pairing two guys with this kind of track record in a landlord-tenant arrangement was never going to end well, and it did not take long for that take to become the consensus.

@VivaLaStool Sounds like a bad idea @MeekPhill_
So The Apartment is back to square one on filling that open room, and Meek Phil is back to being a free agent. Whether Tommy comes back with a cleaner offer -- one that does not run through Klemmer -- is the thing to watch here. Given the history between those two, don't bet on a sequel pitch landing any better than the first one.
