Bosco Industries pairing Rico Bo$co with a hibachi chef was always going to be chaos. RB is many things — a content guy, a degenerate, a Nutrafol partner — but a guy you'd trust with a flat-top grill and a squeeze bottle of yum-yum sauce? Absolutely not. The new episode confirms it loud and clear, and even the main account couldn't help but throw him under the bus.
To his credit, RB owned it. Rather than pretend the chef wasn't visibly losing patience with him on camera, he leaned all the way into the bit — copping to the fact that he probably blew the demo while clinging to the one nugget the chef gave him: practice, practice, practice. Allen Iverson would be proud. The chef, less so.
Meanwhile, over in the actual professional kitchen, Chef Donny is dealing with his own staffing problem — namely, that wasabi is a nightmare to make and somebody has to do it. Naturally, that somebody is the new guy. There's a beautiful symmetry here: RB getting humbled by a hibachi pro on one end of the Barstool food universe, and the new hire getting handed the worst job in the building on the other.
That's the thing with these Bosco/Nutrafol crossovers — they only land when the talent is willing to look stupid for two minutes, and RB delivered. The hibachi guy didn't have to say a word; the look on his face did all the work. Practice, practice, practice. Maybe by the next sponsored episode RB will be flipping a shrimp tail into his hat. Probably not. But that's why you keep tuning in.
