Stefon Diggs signs with Commanders, comes home to Maryland

The Commanders are signing Stefon Diggs, and Barstool's NFL account had it confirmed fast.

This isn't just another free agent landing spot for Diggs. He's a Gaithersburg, Maryland native, and the deal reportedly comes in at 1 year and $12 million, pairing him with Terry McLaurin and second-year QB Jayden Daniels in Washington's passing attack. Diggs is coming off a strong stint in New England, where he caught 85 passes for 1,013 yards and 4 touchdowns and helped stabilize a young Patriots locker room during their run to Super Bowl LX. New England released him in a cost-saving move at the start of the new league year, and now he's cashing in on a return to his home state.
