But this didnt really feel like an apology. More her yelling at us for trying to divide the locker room or something. Like blaming us for DJ tweeting “white privilege” in the locker room. That’s what is dividing people. Fever fans and players get blamed for everything under the sun. We’re not trying to divide anybody but its Fever vs the world and we want a coach who feels and acts that way

She walked off without taking a single question. Fans in the building reportedly booed her before the outburst -- and by the time she was done, she'd made her point without ever directly saying "I'm sorry."
That's exactly where Portnoy drew the line. He said he could've accepted an apology that admitted fault -- something like owning that she should've defended Cunningham first instead of getting caught up in the DiJonai Carrington side of it. What he got instead, in his eyes, was White turning the blame back on the fans and media for "dividing the locker room," rather than addressing why Fever fans were upset in the first place.
