tBush Run It Back: Elite Stage 4 Champs, NA #1 Seed Reclaimed

tBush Gaming just won their 7th tournament of the year, and the scoreboard proves they're the best CDL Challengers squad in North America right now.

Two weeks. That's how long it took tBush Gaming to go from scrambling through a last-minute roster change to hoisting another championship. The Elite Stage 4 Grand Final against CABAL was a 4-1 series win that looked messier in the middle than the final score suggests — Bush dropped Map 2 on Gridlock SnD to even things up at 1-1 — but they never actually looked shaky. Prolute put up a 38/22 masterclass on Map 3, Traix delivered one of the wilder individual performances of the season on Map 4, and by the time Map 5 Fringe SnD came around, CABAL had nothing left.

Map 4 Hacienda in real time: Bush down 90+ points, Traix goes 44/26 with 4.5K damage for a 250-242 comeback win.

That Map 4 Hacienda HP will live in the highlight reel for a while. Down by over 90 points — the kind of deficit that usually means you're just playing out the clock — Traix went absolutely nuclear. The watch party panel lost their minds. Bush escaped 250-242 and took a 3-1 series lead they never gave back.

The full tournament run was ridiculous: 4-1 in Group Play, swept the Huntsmen 3-0 in Winners Round 2, grinded through CABAL twice — a 3-2 in the Winners Final followed by the 4-1 Grand Final closeout. All told, $20,000 earned as a team and 15,000 Pro Points per player, which did exactly what you'd expect it to do to the standings.

Reclaiming the NA #1 seed is the real headline here. It's not just a vanity ranking — Top-4 NA essentially punches your ticket to Challengers Champs, and Bush now has a stranglehold on that unless something dramatic changes with the roster picture. They also crossed $103,000 in earnings on the year across 7 tournament wins (4 Challenger Cups, 2 Elite Stage Playoffs, 1 Major Challengers Open), which puts them ahead of 8 of the 12 CDL League teams in 2026 prize money. Let that sink in. A Challengers org out-earning Toronto, Minnesota, and the Falcons on the year.

Mook getting a low-funds bank alert at the exact moment Prez called Bush a seven-figure operation — the bit wrote itself.

The Mook low-funds notification landing simultaneously with Dave Portnoy hyping the Bush as a seven-figure operation is the kind of timing you can't script. Classic. There's a Paris Major IV Open in a week — the Stallions sub-squad (STUSH) was already scrimming on their off day — so there's no slowing down. tBush came into this Elite stage with a patched roster and left with a title, the top seed, and a running joke about Mook's bank account. Good week to be a Bush fan.
