Telluride Bush Gaming reveals new roster as Prolute exits

TLDR: Telluride Bush Gaming dropped its new Call of Duty roster a day early Sunday night under #Unshaven, and the org also sent off Prolute and Jace with public thank-yous.

The plan was to save the reveal for the Owner's Meeting on Monday. The teaser went up Sunday evening with 4 trees and a wink.

That plan lasted about 90 minutes. The Bush decided nobody wanted to wait for a podcast to find out who's wearing the jersey, so the roster video came out that same night.

What’s the fun in waiting until tomorrow night? #Unshaven🌳

Some quick background for anyone who only knows the Bush as a Barstool bit. Jersey Jerry, Mook and Sas founded Telluride Bush Gaming in August 2025, and on October 30 of that year it announced its first roster: Capsidal, Prolute, Spart and TJHaly, with Temp coaching. It wasn't a joke team for long. It won Challengers Cup 1, then took Cup 3 after Fire replaced TJHaly. For the 2026 Challengers season it even got Kraken as presenting sponsor, and Jerry said the money would help with travel and tournament costs.

Prolute was on that very first roster, so his exit is the one that stings. Byron "Prolute" Vera had been with the Bush from day 1. Within half an hour of the reveal he posted a goodbye that sounded like a guy leaving on good terms.

The team's account replied with #TimeToWriteANewStory, which fits his #NextChapter pretty well. Nobody has said where Prolute is headed next. Neither post mentions a destination, so we'll wait for him to announce it.

Prolute wasn't the only goodbye. About an hour later the org posted a #ThankYouJace send-off. The Call of Duty esports wiki lists a Jace Humberson as the Bush's general manager, so this looks like a front-office change too and not only a new lineup. The org itself hasn't spelled out his role or why he's leaving.

So the Bush heads into its next chapter with a different team and possibly different people running it, and the only original-roster name we knew for sure was still there is now gone. Expect a lot more on Monday's Owner's Meeting, since the stage it was saving for the announcement now gets to explain it. Then the real test is whether this group can win Challengers events the way the first one did.
