Brandon Walker, Brewers take over Mostly Sports

TLDR: With Milwaukee up 3-0 on the Rays after a 10-1 Game 3, Mostly Sports spent Tuesday asking whether the Brewers are bad for baseball while fans roasted Brandon Walker over how he talks about them.
The Brewers are 1 win from the first title in franchise history, and the Mostly Sports studio talked about little else on the 10/27 episode.
Look at the scoreboard and you can see why somebody asked. Game 3 at Tropicana Field ended Brewers 10, Rays 1. Milwaukee scored 8 runs with 2 outs in the 5th inning, which MLB.com called a World Series first in 122 years. They put up 10 runs without hitting a home run. Robert Gasser threw 6 scoreless innings and gave up 1 hit. Jackson Chourio had 4 hits before the 5th inning was over. A team that strings singles together and has its starter cruising doesn't make for much drama, and a sweep nobody saw coming is usually where the 'bad for baseball' talk starts.
The other half of the show's argument is that this run is genuinely impressive on more than one level. Milwaukee could join the 1976 Reds as the only teams to sweep both the LCS and the World Series in the same October. No team has ever come back from 0-3 in the Fall Classic. The only time it's happened in any 7-game series was the 2004 Red Sox in the ALCS. Pat Murphy said his players looked around the ballpark like 'Wow!' at how much the city has bought in.
Then there's Brandon Walker. Online, the Brewers bit turned into a running joke about him, specifically the way he says 'The Brewers.' Apparently he says it like he's naming a place to grab lunch, not a ballclub that's 1 game from a parade.
Walker had been on the Brewers beat before the 10/27 episode. On Wake Up Barstool on 10/26, while the desk was previewing Game 3, someone handed the Milwaukee takes straight to a Brandon.
“The Brewers, they did exactly what you would have wanted them to do, Brandon. They're electric.”
Game 4 is Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on FOX. If Milwaukee finishes the sweep, 'bad for baseball' turns into a parade debate, and Brandon Walker will hear about 'The Brewers' all winter whether he likes it or not.
