Camp Barstool 2026 hit its final day, and the whole operation built toward one thing: a relay race with a $12,000 prize on the line, presented by Mountain Dew. Pardon My Take called it exactly what it was on the way in — Day 3, Relay Day — and by mid-afternoon the entire camp was streaming the same finish line.
The days leading up to it were pure Camp Barstool chaos. There was the obligatory wildlife bit, with Barstool introducing "Ranger Don and Reed" as the camp's resident bear experts in a woodsy walk-and-talk that had nothing to do with actual danger and everything to do with a good bit.

Rico emerged as the breakout character of the whole retreat. WonTon Don described him as permanently stuck in fight mode, and by the time the Yak crew rolled cameras Thursday afternoon, Rico had his own recurring bit — reportedly ordering duck at a steakhouse the night before, a detail the Yak leaned into hard on their Mountain Dew-branded set.

Camp Barstool has leaned on its water obstacle course for years as the signature physical bit, and this year was no different. One jumper stuck the landing to a round of "THEY DID IT!!" celebration, while Brandon's attempt to hit the blob went sideways in a splash that got its own clip.

By Thursday evening, the vibe shifted from chaos to competition. Hank Lockwood's team came in chasing history, sitting at 2-0 all-time at Camp Barstool and gunning for a three-peat, while WonTon Don framed the final relay as a chance to "win it for buddy." Streams went up across the board — whitesoxdave, Chaps, Kate and Steven Cheah all pointed followers to the same broadcast as the relay kicked off.
Between the competition, the camp still found time for its usual podcast-heavy programming, with the Mostly Sports crew taping outdoors and reacting to Poor Decisions, and TJ Hitchings marking what he called the "last yak" of the retreat. It's the format that's made Camp Barstool a recurring summer tentpole for the company — equal parts competition show and multi-day content shoot, with Mountain Dew's branding stamped on nearly every set piece from the relay to the podcast decks.
With the $12,000 relay as the closing event, Camp Barstool 2026 goes out the same way it's gone out before: one last physical grind, one last round of Dew, and a camp's worth of clips still working their way through everyone's timelines.
