Chef Donny throws Yak podcast's first perfect game

If you've spent any time around The Yak, you know Chef Donny doesn't do quiet cameos. He's built a reputation as one of the show's most reliable chaos agents, the guy who shows up and turns a normal segment into a highlight reel. On August 11, he took that reputation to another level entirely.

The episode started rolling early and never let up. Clips hit social all afternoon of Donny holding court, singing, riffing, and apparently sending co-hosts into fits. One post claimed he could sing, though the clip itself doesn't confirm what came out of his mouth.

It escalated from there. According to one clip, Mark had to physically walk out of the room mid-taping because he couldn't handle whatever Donny was saying, leaving an empty chair on set.

By the time the dust settled, The Yak's own account made it official, dubbing it the first perfect game in the show's history. That's not a small claim from a podcast that's had no shortage of unhinged guest spots over the years — this one apparently cleared the bar for all of them.

Donny has built a following as a recurring guest whose stories and one-liners routinely get cut into standalone "Best Of" compilations, and fans online were already treating this appearance like appointment viewing before it even wrapped. Whether this actually holds as the show's peak or gets topped by whatever he does next, the crew clearly isn't done chasing him for more.
