Drop A Pin show debuts Geography Grand Prix trivia

TLDR: Barstool's Drop A Pin Show rolled out its first-ever Geography Grand Prix, and the staff's grasp of basic world geography is already getting roasted online.
Drop A Pin has spent its run sending The Wonton Don and Uncle Chaps around the globe to dig up the weird and obscure corners of the map. Now the show is turning the camera on its own crew with a new competitive bit: the Geography Grand Prix, a live trivia gauntlet testing who actually knows the world and who's just been faking it this whole time.
The premiere episode wasted no time exposing the gaps. Barstool's own account posted footage of a whiteboard-and-pen setup where a group answers true-or-false and multiple-choice questions, including one on whether Russia is the largest country in the world by land area -- about as softball as geography trivia gets.

That same Russia question shows up again from a different angle, with a group holding up answer cards against a wall as a host in a floral blazer works the mic. One person's card visibly reads "True" -- the correct call, since Russia's roughly 6.6 million square miles does make it the biggest country on Earth by a wide margin.
The bit works because it's Barstool eating its own. It's one thing to send a foreign correspondent chasing stories on the ground overseas; it's another to put your coworkers on the spot with a whiteboard and let the internet watch them sweat over a question a 5th grader should ace. Setting the bar with a gimme like Russia only raises the stakes for round 2 -- if anyone stumbles on the easy stuff, the harder questions are going to be a bloodbath.
Whether Geography Grand Prix becomes a recurring segment or a one-off bit remains to be seen, but early reaction suggests the audience wants more of the staff getting humbled on camera. For a show built on discovering the world, watching its own crew fumble the basics is the kind of self-aware chaos that tends to keep clips circulating.
