Jeff Nadu's 37th Birthday Bash Swallows Lancaster Whole

Jeff Nadu's birthday party took over Lancaster, PA, and by nightfall it had turned into a full-blown Barstool soap opera.

Jeff Nadu turned 37 on July 18, and Barstool didn't just wish him happy birthday, it sent a camera crew. Nadu's party had been hyped for weeks as the party of the century, and Barstool assigned Tate to embed with him for the full day, cameras rolling from the moment he touched down in Lancaster.

Tate landed in Lancaster and immediately got the grand tour of Nadu's house.

The house tour itself became a bit. Big Cat weighed in with a backhanded review, saying the place was very nice but the internet cord on the 2nd floor needed fixing, the kind of nitpick that only makes sense if you're already fully invested in the bit. That's the energy this whole day had, everyone treating a birthday party in Lancaster like it was a presidential visit.

Then came the real reveal: the 3rd floor of Yorgos, the Lancaster bar apparently central to the night's festivities, got its own unveiling video, a fully built-out bar with purple LED lighting downstairs and a rooftop deck with a turf wall and a neon Yorgos Lancaster sign up top.

The first look at Yorgos's new 3rd floor, the venue everyone had been building up all day.

Big Cat called it a place that was gonna be a movie, and given how much buildup the venue got over the course of the day, it's easy to see why. But the bigger storyline of the day wasn't the venue, it was the Bosco of it all. Dave Portnoy jumped in with a jab about Nadu's reported 6 days in a psychiatric hospital, saying Bosco topped it with a full month in the cuckoo bin, before later declaring Nadu and Bosco mirror images who despise each other, joking Men of Honor should be renamed the Don't Gut It Boys.

That Bosco subplot spilled into the replies. Cons got pressed on why he keeps defending Bosco given Nadu's history of going after people, and Cons fired back that Bosco has made a ton of anti-American comments that upset him. It escalated into an accusation-laden back-and-forth, with Cons eventually posting a clip captioned I don't have anything to hide, stamped with a skeptical you sure about that meme overlay.

The day's biggest swerve came when the documentation just stopped. After hours of nonstop footage, Nadu apparently told Tate he couldn't post video of him anymore, and Tate went on camera himself to explain the situation, a talking-head update rather than another clip of the party.

Tate explained on camera why he stopped filming Nadu after being told to cut it out.

Big Cat wasn't having it, firing off a demand that Nadu fix it, and whitesoxdave joked Tate should get shipped to Washington for his integrity in respecting the request anyway. Whether the cameras come back on before the night's over is anyone's guess, but for one Tuesday in Lancaster, a guy's birthday party turned into the most-watched thing on the app.
