Jordan Love on Packers injury report with sore back

TLDR: Jordan Love made the Packers injury report for the first time this season as a limited participant with a sore back, and he says there is no chance he misses Sunday in Detroit.
Wednesday's first Packers-Lions injury report came with a caveat: Green Bay didn't actually practice, so every status on it is an estimate.

First Packers-Lions injury report. Packers have estimations since they didn’t officially practice.
An estimate still counts, though, and the name on it is the one that matters. Love hadn't been on a single injury report all year. Now he's listed limited with a back issue going into a division road game, and Christian Watson and Matthew Golden are listed limited right next to him.

Jordan Love on here for the first time this season. Christian Watson and Matthew Golden also listed. All were estimated as limited participants.
Love went straight at the panic. He said it's a sore back, nothing more, and that there's no chance he sits in Detroit. That's what every QB says on a Wednesday, but a guy who has been off the report all season brushing it off this hard is worth something.

Jordan Love says he’s dealing with a sore back. He was limited on the injury report estimation today. Said there’s no chance he misses Sunday in Detroit.
The QB isn't the only problem, it's who he'd be throwing to. Watson is limited with an ankle and Golden with a shoulder, according to the team's report. Savion Williams is also limited with an ankle, and Bo Melton was estimated as not participating with a back injury of his own. That's 4 receivers on the report in the same week. Even if Love is fine Sunday, the room around him might be held together with tape.
Detroit's side is a lot cleaner. Brian Branch (Achilles) and Cade Mays (wrist) were full participants, and corner Rock Ya-Sin was limited with a hamstring. The Lions are about as healthy as you get by late October, and the Packers have a list that runs 10 names deep.
Here's what to watch: 2 more practice reports before Friday's game designations. If Love goes from estimated limited to an actual full session, this was a Wednesday blip. If he's still limited Friday, or he gets a questionable tag, it gets a lot more stressful in Green Bay. For now he's said what he's said, and he said it like he meant it.
