Dante The Don Goes To War With Sidewalk Delivery Robots On Macrodosing

Dante The Don used the latest Macrodosing episode to declare unconditional war on delivery robots, and he wasn't exactly whispering about it.

Sidewalk delivery robots have been quietly taking over city blocks for a couple years now, and 2026 is the year the backlash actually caught up to them. Chicago has a petition against the bots sitting north of 3,400 signatures, with complaints about robots pushing pedestrians and blocking cyclists. Philadelphia residents have been kicking them in the street. Coral Gables officials have literally described their sidewalks as "robot chaos." So when Dante The Don got on Macrodosing and started ranting about hating the robots, he wasn't inventing a grievance out of thin air -- he's tapping into something a lot of people in a lot of cities are already mad about.

Dante lays out, on mic, exactly why the robots have gotten under his skin.

Macrodosing didn't just let the clip speak for itself either. The pod's own account followed up by needling the bots for getting too comfortable out there, describing them as swerving around "like they're kids on bikes" -- which, if you've dodged one of these things on a narrow sidewalk, tracks with the vibe even if you didn't see the specific footage they're referencing.

Dante and his co-host keep the conversation going in studio.

Dante wasted zero time turning this into a full-blown bit. Right after the episode dropped, he posted "It will always be fuck the robots. #teamhuman" -- not a one-off, either. He came back less than half an hour later doubling down, calling the machines "clunker pieces of shit" and slapping the same #teamhuman tag on it again.

There's a reason this is landing as more than just a guy yelling at robots for content. With 24 states now having passed some form of sidewalk robot law and cities like San Francisco already tightening rules after pedestrian complaints piled up, the actual policy fight over these things is very much live. Dante's just the loudest voice putting a face -- or a fist, at this point -- on a frustration that's spreading from Chicago to Philly to Miami.

Whether #teamhuman turns into an actual recurring bit on Macrodosing or fades after this episode, the robots aren't going anywhere -- companies are still expanding into new markets even as the complaints stack up. So don't be shocked if this isn't the last time Dante's on the mic ranting about a machine cutting him off on the sidewalk.
