Nick Turani joins Dana Beers on One More
TLDR: Nick Turani sat down with Dana Beers for a new One More, out October 28, telling how he met KB and his first run-in with Dave Portnoy, and revisiting the Pork Off.
One More is Dana's beers-at-a-high-top sit-down with Barstool people about how they got here. The new episode dropped Wednesday night, and Dana led the promo with one specific bit of the archive.

"So ahead of its time" is a lot to say about a Pork Off, but that's Dana's call and the show's whole pitch. One More digs up old Barstool content the newer fans never saw and gets the guy who made it to explain himself. Nicky called it "a genuine blast," and the teaser makes it look like he meant it.
Then there's the KB part, which is half the reason anyone knows who Nick is. The 2 of them both come from Wheeling, West Virginia, and before Barstool KB was a Kent State wrestler who went viral on Twitter while Nick worked as a graphic designer. Now they host A New Untold Story together, and the episode has them telling how it all started.
They've told pieces of that story on other people's podcasts before, but on One More the episode gets to cut to the receipts. That's what this format does well. The baby pictures and old clips are already sitting in the archive, and Dana gets to play them back to the guy who's in them.
That goes double for Nick's first interaction with Dave. That clip pulls up older footage instead of just retelling it: a portfolio slide of graphic-design work credited to nickturani.com, then a cut to a guy in a pink tee and a Patriots cap talking across a table in front of a Larry Bird poster.
For Nick, it's the whole arc in 1 episode: Wheeling to graphic design, then a portfolio in front of the boss, a Pork Off nobody was ready for, and a seat at Dana's bar. The full episode is up now. Dana says the numbers need pumping, so you know what to do.
