Fleetwood Town stun Arsenal, Dave Portnoy tags Troopz

TLDR: League Two's Fleetwood Town, 18th in English soccer's 4th tier, knocked the Premier League champions Arsenal out of the Carabao Cup 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw, and Dave Portnoy immediately went after Troopz.
This was a League Cup last-16 tie that should have been a formality, and it ended with Fleetwood's players sprinting toward their own fans.

Arsenal just lost to Fleetwood Town in the EFL Cup. Arsenal’s roster: $1.5 BILLION Fleetwood Town’s roster: $3 million Fleetwood is currently 18th in the 4th level of English soccer. Possibly the biggest upset in English soccer history.
Barstool's number is $1.5 billion of Arsenal roster against $3 million of Fleetwood roster. Treat that as tweet math, not a verified figure, but nobody needs it to get the point. AP put the gap at 84 places in the English pyramid, and Fleetwood had never reached this stage of the competition before. Fleetwood also sold out their ground for the first time in more than a decade, and it was the first meeting between the 2 clubs.
The match was close. Aaron Loupalo-Bi gave Fleetwood the lead in the first half, around the 21st minute, and Viktor Gyokeres equalized for Arsenal in the 50th. Fleetwood keeper Jay Lynch made big stops to keep it level. Arsenal then lost their heads late: 16-year-old Max Dowman was sent off in the 85th minute for kicking out at an opponent, and Mikel Arteta appeared to have words with him on his way off. In the shootout Fleetwood scored every penalty, Lynch saved one from Arsenal, and Conor Haughey scored the winner.
Is it the biggest upset in English soccer history, like Barstool and Pardon My Take said? That's the internet talking. AP was more careful and called it one of the biggest upsets in the League Cup's 66-year history. Either way, the defending champions lost to a team near the bottom of League Two, and Dave Portnoy wasted no time.

In all of my days @troopzafc IN ALL OF MY DAYS!!! @DaMidgetZimbo 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Look at who Dave tagged. "In all of my days" is Troopz's line. He's the loudest Arsenal fan on the internet, so Dave threw it back at him the night his club fell over. Then 17 crying-laughing emojis. The guy in the clip is wearing a Spurs shirt, not Arsenal colors, which makes it a rivalry dunk and not a sympathy post. Tottenham fans have been waiting years for a night like this.
For Arsenal it's mostly embarrassing. Their League Cup run is over, but the Premier League is the real job and the champions get to move on. Fleetwood are still 18th in League Two and have now beaten the champions of England. They'll get their quarterfinal draw, and the best fan channel on the internet is going to have a very long week.
