The EWC Last Chance Qualifier for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been a grind for every team left standing, and tBush Gaming's Saturday was no exception. After the team's lineup of Prolute, Fear, Renegade and Owakening got the win they needed to survive an earlier round, they turned right around and drew Arrow Tech Edge, formerly known as OMiT Brooklyn, in a Winners Semifinal best-of-5 with a trip to Championship Sunday on the line.
Bush jumped out early. On Map 1, Frequency Hardpoint, @Renegade_JW went nearly double positive at 34/18 with F3AR chipping in 27/19 as the squad ran out to a 250-160 win to open the series 1-0. It looked like the kind of statement start that could snowball into a sweep.
It didn't snowball. Arrow Tech Edge answered on Map 2, a Search and Destroy on Raid, winning 5 of the next 6 rounds after Bush jumped out 3-1 to steal it 6-4 and even the series at 1-1. That's the ugly part of best-of-5 SnD -- momentum flips fast, and suddenly a series that looked like a formality was very much live heading into Map 3.

That's when Bush found another gear. Map 3 on Den Overload came down to a buzzer-beater finish that denied overtime outright, with the team slamming home the 4th objective to reclaim the series lead, 2-1. Then Renegade_JW put the exclamation point on it in Map 4's Den Hardpoint, going nuclear for a 37/25 stat line with 1:45 of hill time to close it out 250-239 and lock up the series, 3-1.

That advances tBush Gaming to the Winners Final of the LCQ, where they'll meet gg_torn on Championship Sunday as the second match of the day, following the Losers Semifinal. According to the bracket update, Bush is currently sitting top-3 with $9,000 already secured -- with a spot in the EWC 2026 Main Event, and a shot at the $100,000 LCQ prize pool, still very much in play. It's a long way from where this run started, and it's exactly the position a team wants to be in heading into the final stretch.
